Taming The Monkey is not another quit smoking method. What we focus on is breaking down the smoking habit until it no longer has a hold on us.The cigarette will lose all its power over us when we free ourselves. We will not have to stop smoking. Will no longer want to smoke cigarettes.
In Taming the Monkey we work with the Time Limit Method. Basically, we work on putting more and more time between us and the first cigarette we smoke, thereby breaking down the smoking habit and building up our resistance to the urge to smoke. When the habit is broken and the urge is conquered, there is no will, want or need to smoke cigarettes. We are free to choose whether we want to smoke or not.
